Product Description
Rolling block rifles similar to the Sporting Rifle began to appear in the 1860s. They used a specially shaped breech block that was able to rotate on a pin and was locked into place by the hammer. The Sporting Rifle is a very accurate and easy handling example of a falling block rifle. If you are ready for the unique challenges of single-shot hunting, the .30-30 Winchester chambering makes this rifle a great choice for whitetail deer.
