Take your personal safety seriously with the powerful Mace Brand Ergo Stun in Black. Many times, the visual and auditory effects of operating the stun are an effective deterrent. The impressive electrical arc and the loud snapping sound will often make a would-be assailant th twice about attacking. Depressing the stun button as a warning might be all you need to keep the would-be assailant from approaching. But, if it must be used, a shock of 1 second or less will cause pain and minor muscle contractions. 1 to 2 seconds will cause spasms and a dazed mental state. 3 to 5 seconds will cause loss of balance and muscle control. Do not continue to stun an assailant once you are able to escape to safety. The Black Stun can also be used as a 200 lumen flashlight.
